Every build on this site passes the same bench before the download buttons light up. This page is the bench, published so you can hold us to it.
Step 1: File verification
We check the launcher's package identity, com.racas.black, and the exact byte size of both files, and we verify the ISO's disc structure before anything is installed. A pair that fails any check is never published, because a mismatched launcher and ISO is the classic failure of two-file games.
Step 2: Real phones
We install on five handsets: a Samsung Galaxy A55 on Android 15, a Google Pixel 8 on Android 16, a Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro on Android 14, an Infinix Note 40 Pro on Android 14, and a Samsung Galaxy A13 on Android 12. The A13's job is honesty about the floor: the launcher requires Android 10.0 or newer, and we report how the oldest supported class of phone actually copes.
Step 3: Full missions
Ports fail in the middle, not the menu, so our reviewer plays complete missions end to end: the street, the border crossing, the dockyard and the foundry among them. We watch for the port's signature beats, destructible cover behaving, breach slow motion triggering, reload focus working, and we log every hitch with the phone it happened on.
Step 4: Controls and setup
We run the install both ways, ISO placed in the Black folder by hand and ISO registered through Import game, and we tune the touch layout the way a new player would, following our own guides. If a step in a guide cannot be followed as written, the guide is wrong, not the player, and it gets fixed before the build is listed.
About ratings
The rating printed on this site, 4.6 from 153 votes, is the published rating for this port from its distribution page, quoted with its count. BLACK never appeared in the phone app stores, so no store rating exists for it, and we do not invent one.
